The President visit is timely and Worthy of Commendation.
The State Chairman of Coalition of APC Support groups Imo State, PRINCE DARLINGTON ONWUEGBU a political structural Strategist and a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Imo State, has described the working visit of Mr President Muhammadu Buhari to Imo State as worthwhile and commendable.
The State Chairman in a statement released from his office in Owerri, described the visit of Mr. President as timely and appropriate, because it demonstrates the commitment of the All Progressive Congress, APC led Federal Government, to ensure all round development in the South East region.
ONWUEGBU commended the Executive Governor of Imo State, Dist Sen Hope Uzodinma for adding another feather to his achievements because bringing the Grand Commander of the federal Republic of Nigeria out from his comfort zone is not an easy task and it takes a gallant achiever to do so.
According to the statement “President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Imo State, where he is expected to commission some projects by the Shared Prosperity Administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma, is an attestation or reflection of his resolve to support developmental efforts beneficial to the people, not only in Imo State, but in the South East.
“President Buhari’s working visit to Imo State also signposts the development strides achieved by Governor Hope Uzodimma barely two years in office”.
Prince Onwuegbu advised Imolites to look at the positive gains of the visit of Mr. President.
“We should look at the positives of the working visit of Mr President and not resort to mudslinging, all in a bid to discredit the gains inherent from President Buhari’s visit to Imo State”
He commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for spearheading the visit of Mr. President to Imo State, the first working visit by a Nigerian President to Imo State in the past 13 years.
The Chairman noted that the APC remains the surest route for Igbo nation, to realize a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction.
“And the only way to achieve this feat is for the South East to embrace the APC ahead of the 2023 general elections”, he advised.
He called the APC at the National to Zone the party presidential ticket to South East.
