The immediate past Imo State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development and erudite Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State, the first and only female State Secretary of a party nationwide, Dr. Lady Love Ineh has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for bringing President Muhammadu Buhari to commission some strategic projects in Imo State, even as she expressed happiness with the President’s visit, which she said has opened a lot of opportunities to the South East States.
Love Ineh, who was the Chairman of the Presidential Visit Entertainment Committee, opined: “If you ask me, I will say that Mr. President, at the Town Hall Meeting, opened his heart enough to interact with leaders of the South East. He responded passionately in a manner that endeared him so much to the people. He sincerely appreciated the position of the Igbo man, more so as he confessed that Igbos drive the economy of Nigeria. That is straight from a sincere heart.”
Ineh, who brilliantly and perfectly handled the entertainment of all South East Governors and their representatives, during the Presidential visit further said: “So, what else do you want our amiable President to do or say? He has said it all. His expression shows that he loves and cares for Ndigbo. We should, therefore, open up our hearts to him and see how we can bond together with him and get what we want for our region.”
Commending Governor Hope Uzodimma for causing the President to visit, the indomitable and sagacious APC Apex Leader in Obowo Love Ineh said: “I can tell you that our Governor is God sent. ‘O wu Dike eji aga mba.’ We should always remain grateful to Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodimma (Onwa Oyoko), our Governor. He is a silent achiever. He doesn’t make noise. He knows what he wants at any given time and how to go about getting that thing.
“Onwa Oyoko is a team player and a go getter. He seriously wanted the President to personally come and commission his projects and made efforts to bring him and here he is with us today. So, all thanks, honour and glory be unto the Lord.”
Lady Ineh commended the Governor for the laudable projects he has accomplished so far and gave assurance that the Governor is going to do much more before the expiration of his tenure.
Dr. Lady Love Ineh was the Campaign Director of Senator Frank Ibezim, during the Imo North (Okigwe) Senatorial bye election campaign in 2020, a position in which she demonstrated extra ordinary tact and determination, hence the success of APC in winning the bye election. It is noteworthy that Dr. Lady Love Ineh is the first female politician to be appointed Director General of a Senatorial Candidate in black Africa.
