BREAKING: Fire guts Asokoro hospital in Abuja

There was Pandemonium on Thursday as fire gutted Asokoro General Hospital in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
It was gathered that the fire started at a store house of the hospital but could not be contained on time as a result of late arrival of the fire fighters.
The fire which razed down the Institute of Human Virology laboratory and destroyed sensitive medical equipments.
Though the cause of the power could not be immediately ascertained but sources said it was as a result of power surge.
The Public Relations of the Federal Fire Service, Abraham Paul while confirming the incident said the service deployed fire fighters from the two stations to the scene.
