The senator representing Osun Central in the 1st National Assembly, Adebayo Ayoade Salami, dies in the United States.
It was gathered that the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC died on Thursday evening in the US at the age of 67 years.
Circumstances leading to death was however unknown as at the press time.
Senator Salami represented Osun Central Senatorial District under the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) between 1999 and 2003.
Salami was in the Senate and served as vice-chairman of the committees on public accounts, labour, power and steel and water resources.
Until his death, he was the Osun Senatorial leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress
