Nollywood Veteran Actor, Obi Dike has decried on the quality of most movies produced in Nigeria at the moment.
In his words, speaking in an interview on a talk show, Straight Talk With Benneth, the veteran Actor best known for his roles in the films Living with Death (2006) and A Cry for Justice (2007) said “… the mode of casting these days – I wonder whether we are casting looking out for the best, the best act, the best person that fits a particular role…”
“Then having people jumping in from everywhere, everybody wants to be a star and in the course of it, you will produce a half baked movie”
“We still have a lot to do.. Look at some jobs, the content. Back then before we enter into production, we have what is called the script conference, everybody is involved from all sectors, the actors, the crew, the post production ; we all sit down to analyse a script. And if the script is not good enough, you get back to work on it “
