Bandits Attack Commercial Vehicle in Kogi

A commercial vehicle was attack£d by Armed bandits along the Isanlu–Idofin axis in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State on Monday afternoon, December 22, 2025.

According to reports from the area, the incident occurred while the vehicle was in transit.

The attackers reportedly intercepted the vehicle, causing pan!c among passengers and motorists using the route.

However, sources confirmed that the occupants of the vehicle managed to escape the attack, and no casualties were recorded.

The incident has renewed concerns over safety along the Isanlu–Idofin road, as residents and commuters continue to call for increased security presence to curb recurring attacks in the area.
