ASCENDING THE LADDER OF SUCCESS!! EXPECT THE HEROD – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin

TEXT:
Matthew 2:2-3 KJV.
“Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”
3.”When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.”

*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ The bible recorded that when Herod heard from the wise men that they had seen a star which heralded a new king, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
☆☆☆ The trouble in Jerusalem began because Herod heard that a new king had been born.
☆☆☆ It was not a challenge when there was no mention of a new king, but the moment he heard that a star had been seen concerning the new born king, he was greatly troubled.
☆☆☆ Trouble began because a star emerged. There wouldn’t had been any problem if the new child carried no star.

☆☆☆ Beloved, whenever you transit from being ordinary to becoming a star, expect the Herod of this world to react badly.
☆☆☆ Some people will never be worried about you once it seems like you are nobody, but the moment you arise and they see you as a threat to their own dominance, there will be trouble.
☆☆☆ The Herod of this world will never bother when a regular child is born, but he will surely worry whenever he hears that a star has emerged.

☆☆☆ Beloved, nobody cares about someone without a star or glory.
☆☆☆ Nobody bothers about anyone who isn’t making any meaningful progress in life.
☆☆☆ Once you begin to make some positive impacts in life, expect the Herod of this world to be after you.

☆☆☆ Herod unleashed a terrible battle against Jesus the moment he knew that Jesus was the new born King.
☆☆☆ Battles began simply because there was a new King on the bloc.
☆☆☆ Beloved, your greatness is an invitation for new battles.
☆☆☆ The moment you begin to rise, some enemies you never knew you had, will surely come out in their true colours and try to fight you until you possibly abandon your mission.
☆☆☆ The moment you rise, the systems and structures of hell will rise against you.

☆☆☆ Some people who might have been wired to encourage you in your low moments, may turn around to fight against you later instead of celebrating you when your star rises.
☆☆☆ Don’t feel embarrassed when some of those who could easily tag along with you in your low estate, become your greatest enemies when God lifts you higher.
☆☆☆ Don’t be shocked when the Herod of this world begins to plot against you simply because your light is shinning.
☆☆☆ Beloved, note that no Herod will bother about you when you are struggling to survive.
☆☆☆ If you think you don’t have enemies, then you aren’t making waves.
☆☆☆ However, immediately you hit on the ladder of progress and success, your Herod will surely arise.

*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, please silence every Herod against my lifting.
2. Anoint me oh Lord with the anointing of a finisher to finish well and finish strong.
3. Oh you Herod, clear off, my life is not your parking zone.
4. You that spirit of Herod of discouragement, what are you waiting for, flee my life now in Jesus name.
5. Oh God my maker, don’t allow me to surrender to the Herod of this world in Jesus name.
6. Oh you Herod, in the order of Job 20:15, I command you to vomit all my blessings that you have swallowed.
7. Oh ye hosts of heaven, arrest every Herod of my success and breakthrough.
8. Fire of God, flush out every Herod hibernating in my life.
9. Herod, there is no hiding place for you. Flee now.
10. I am a finisher of every good project I shall lay my hands upon to do henceforth in Jesus mighty name.

*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
Today, I pray for you and I decree, every battle that will arise because of your rising, you shall become an overcomer in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, every battle that is unleashed against you because of your rising, shall lead to your accelerated progress and success in Jesus name.
In Psalm 18:39, the bible says: “For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.”
On this note, I decree, every Herod after your star shall be buried this year in Jesus name.
According to Matthew 10:36, I decree, those household enemies who have constituted themselves as your Herod, shall be silenced by God in Jesus name.
You will overcome and ride over your Herod in Jesus mighty name.
