Tenant Murdered By His Landlord in Edo

A young man identified as Mr. Friday from Imiamune has been allegedly murdered by Landlord from Kalaba Village in Ukhomunyo, Edo State.

According to a statement issued by Akemegoh Friday, President of the Imiamune Youth, the incident occurred during the night, 3 days ago. The youth leader said the police and other security operatives were informed, and the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Mortuary.

In his message, Akemegoh Friday appealed to Imiamune youths and the immediate family of the deceased to remain calm, while insisting that the alleged culprit must be brought to justice.

The deceased and the Youth leader had exchanged pleasantries around 7:58 p.m.

The statement was directed to the attention of His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, His Royal Majesty King Michael Eshioronoya Olorunfemi Sado, and the Edo State Police Command.
