‘I’ll Involve Trump If Anything Goes Wrong in Osun Election,’ Davido Tells Tinubu

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has warned that he will involve United States President Donald Trump if anything goes wrong during the upcoming Osun State governorship election.
Speaking during a live session with comedian Carter Efe, the singer stressed the importance of a free, fair and credible election, saying he would not remain silent if the electoral process was compromised.

“I will involve Trump if anything goes wrong in the Osun election,” Davido said, adding that he would draw international attention to any alleged irregularities.

The singer’s comments come ahead of the August 15 governorship election, where his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is seeking a second term in office.

Davido has been actively campaigning for the governor and has repeatedly urged authorities to ensure a transparent electoral process.
