A foreign traveller has shared his first experience after arriving in Lagos, revealing that the process was far easier than he had expected despite the negative stories and warnings he had encountered online.

In a video posted on social media, the visitor said he was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went upon his arrival in Nigeria.

According to him, the immigration process was quick and straightforward, officials were friendly, and no one requested money or any form of favour from him.

He explained that the only challenge he experienced was locating his luggage, which had already been removed from the baggage carousel by the time he arrived at the collection area.

Describing the overall experience as “super easy,” the traveller said his first arrival in Nigeria was stress-free and went without any problems.

His video has since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians welcoming him to the country, while others said his experience challenges some of the negative perceptions often shared about arriving in Nigeria.
