Ukrainian Drone In Overnight Strikes Kill Seven Persons At Russian Hub, Others Injured 
The targeted firm, Wildberries — one of Russia’s prominent e-commerce and logistics giants — confirmed in a statement that its operations were actively disrupted.
Amassive overnight wave of Ukrainian drone strikes targeting western Russia and the Moscow region has left seven people dead and at least 24 others wounded, local authorities confirmed on Saturday.
The deadly bombardment is part of an intensifying long-range drone campaign by Kyiv, which Ukrainian officials have repeatedly defended as justified retribution for Russia’s devastating air barrages against Ukrainian territory.
The fatal casualties occurred in the town of Kotovsk, located in Russia’s western Tambov region. According to regional Governor Evgeny Pervyshov, the strike directly hit a commercial logistics hub during the night shift.
“Seven night-shift employees were killed when enemy UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) hit a Wildberries logistics centre,” Governor Pervyshov stated. He added that preliminary data indicates 24 additional workers sustained injuries in the blast.

The company revealed that two of its major hubs came under attack: the facility in Kotovsk, Tambov, and another in Elektrostal, situated within the broader Moscow region. Emergency services successfully contained the blaze that erupted at the Tambov site, though firefighters were still actively working to extinguish the fire in Elektrostal on Saturday morning.
Further north, the Russian capital faced a highly coordinated, large-scale aerial assault. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on Saturday that more than 370 Ukrainian drones were launched toward the Moscow region overnight.
Writing on the state-backed MAX media platform, Sobyanin claimed that the vast majority of the incoming threats were neutralized by air defense networks.
“Most were neutralised by air defense forces at distant approaches. 64 enemy UAVs were destroyed on approach to Moscow,” the mayor reported.
The dramatic escalation in cross-border drone warfare comes as international political pressure shifts. US-led diplomatic efforts aimed at brokering an end to the conflict have completely stalled in recent months.
Geopolitical analysts note that the diplomatic vacuum has widened significantly as Washington has increasingly redirected its foreign policy and security focus toward its ongoing conflict with Iran.
