18 first-term governors hold closed-door meeting in Kebbi

A total of 18 All Progressives Congress (APC) first-term governors, including Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, are currently in a closed-door meeting in the Kebbi Government House.

The meeting is being held at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, where the governors are expected to deliberate on national and party-related issues.

Among those in attendance are the governors of Kaduna, Plateau, Ekiti, Delta, Zamfara, Kano, Jigawa, Ebonyi, Edo, Ondo, Kogi, Sokoto and Benue states, among others.

The governors were received by the host, Nasir Idris, alongside the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, upon their arrival at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

According to reports, the meeting is expected to focus on matters of national importance and issues affecting the ruling APC.
