Oyebanji extends olive branch to opponents Oluyede, Bejide

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has reached out to his main challengers in the Ekiti governorship election, Wole Oluyede of the PDP and Dare Bejide of the ADC.
Oyebanji disclosed on Sunday that he would meet the two candidates later that day as part of efforts to foster unity and inclusive governance in the state.

Speaking to newsmen, the Governor-elect said the election had come and gone, stressing that it was now time for all political actors to put aside differences and work together for Ekiti’s progress.

He described his landslide victory as a strong vote of confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s administration and expressed optimism that the APC would replicate the feat in the 2027 general elections.

Oyebanji pledged to sustain the tempo of development and consolidate the achievements of his first term, while assuring the people of Ekiti that he would not betray the trust reposed in him.
