APC congratulates Oyebanji on historic re-election in Ekiti
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his resounding re-election as Governor of Ekiti State.
The party described the victory as epic, noting that Oyebanji is the first incumbent governor to win re-election in the state’s contemporary democratic history.
In an official statement on X, the APC said the landslide win is a strong demonstration of the Ekiti people’s confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s visionary leadership, people-centred policies, and commitment to the state’s progress.
The party commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and all stakeholders for their professionalism in ensuring a peaceful and credible election.
The APC also applauded the people of Ekiti for their peaceful conduct and enthusiastic participation, and expressed confidence that Oyebanji’s second term will deliver more development and further advance President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in the state.
