APC Wins Ekiti Governorship Election as INEC Declares Final Results
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the final results of the 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election, with the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerging victorious by a wide margin.
According to the official figures released by the electoral body, a total of 988,251 voters were registered for the election, while 384,940 voters were successfully accredited to participate in the exercise.
The APC secured a landslide victory, polling 319,224 votes to defeat its closest rival, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which garnered 40,543 votes. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) came a distant third with 12,872 votes.
