GOD DESIGNED CHALLENGES TO MAKE NOT TO BREAK. – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin 
TEXT:
Malachi 3:3 KJV.
“And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.”
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ Beloved, God will often take every child of destiny through a purifying process.
☆☆☆ This process may be hard, tedious and often seemingly hash and difficult. The end result however is usually glorious.
☆☆☆ The challenges of life are often the process that God can take you through to purify and to refine you.
☆☆☆ There are often much complaints and resistance at this stage of life. However, anyone who endures and successfully scales through this process will surely be celebrated.
☆☆☆ Beloved, as the goldsmith hits harder on the hot iron until it becomes his desired image, so also does our God, the ultimate refiner; until we become his desired image.
☆☆☆ A group of women were in a bible study on the book of Malachi. As they were studying chapter three, they came across verse three, which says👇
“He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.”
☆☆☆ This verse gave the women so much puzzles and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.
☆☆☆ One of the women then offered to find out the process of refining silver and promised to get back to the group at their next bible study.
☆☆☆ That week, this woman called up on a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work.
☆☆☆ She didn’t mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.
☆☆☆ As she watched the silversmith holding a piece of silver over the fire and letting it heat up. The silversmith explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.
☆☆☆ The woman then thought about God holding us in such a hot spot, she thought again about the verse👇
“He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.”
☆☆☆ She now asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire, the whole time the silver was being refined.
☆☆☆ The silversmith answered saying, he will not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver through the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.
☆☆☆ The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, “How do you now know when the silver is fully refined?”
☆☆☆ He smiled and answered, “Oh, that’s easy: when I see my image in it.”
☆☆☆ Beloved, if today you are feeling the heat of the fire, occasioned by the challenges of life, remember that God has His eye on you and he will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.
☆☆☆ Don’t give up beloved, God has a good plan for your life. Read Jeremiah 29:11.
☆☆☆ The situation that you are passing through right now will surely end in praises.
*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, in the heat of the challenges of life, please hold me tight until your image is formed in me.
2. Please Lord, delete from my life by fire, whatever will not allow your image to be formed in me.
3. Please Lord, grant me the grace not to resist your purifying process.
4. Father, let my life play out the script that you have written concerning me.
5. In the name of Jesus, I refuse to take the easy way to success which ultimately leads to destruction.
6. Father, help me Lord to endure your purifying process until I become who you have destined me to become.
7. In the examination hall of life, please Lord, don’t allow me to copy other people’s answer scripts.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for somebody today, may you not resist the purifying process of the Most High God.
May you not miss your own period of purification in Jesus name.
Receive grace to endure until you become what God wants you to become.
May you not give up at the peak of your breakthrough.
I decree and declare, the challenges of life will only succeed in making you who God has destined you to be.
May your final product conform with the image of God, the great refiner himself.
May you become a vessel unto honour in the hand of the creator in Jesus mighty name.
Be purified and be refined.
