Residents Discover Headless Female Corpse Inside Abandoned Structure in Bwari
Residents of Bwari Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) were thrown into shock and fear on Saturday following the discovery of a headless female corpse inside an abandoned, uncompleted building within the community.
According to reports, the gruesome discovery was made after residents noticed a strong, offensive odour coming from the deserted structure. Concerned by the smell, some members of the community reportedly decided to investigate, only to stumble upon the decomposing body of a middle-aged woman.
Witnesses said the corpse was found in a disturbing condition, with the victim’s head missing, raising fears that she may have been murdered and her body dumped at the location. The identity of the deceased had not been established as of the time of filing this report.
The shocking incident has left residents shaken, with many expressing concerns over the increasing use of abandoned buildings as hideouts for criminal activities. Community members have called on security agencies to intensify surveillance in the area and ensure that those responsible for the crime are brought to justice.
Security operatives were reportedly alerted and later arrived at the scene to evacuate the remains and commence investigations into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
