Man Reportedly Disappears After Bandit Leader Declares Him Wanted for Marrying His Wife in Zamfara

 


Residents of Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State have been thrown into anxiety following the reported disappearance of a man identified as Sa’idu Hassan after a suspected bandit leader allegedly declared him wanted.


According to local sources, the incident stemmed from claims that Hassan married a woman believed to be the wife of the bandit leader during the latter’s prolonged absence from the community.


Community members said the suspected bandit kingpin, upon learning of the marriage, reportedly issued threats against Hassan and vowed to track him down. The development reportedly triggered fear among residents, particularly after Hassan could no longer be found in the area.


Sources familiar with the matter disclosed that Hassan may have fled the community for safety following reports that the armed group had begun searching for him. However, his exact whereabouts remain unknown, fueling speculation and concern among relatives and residents.
