Security Guard Allegedly Runs Away With His Employer’s Children in Minna.
A businessman named Alhaji Danjuma who resides in Brighter Area in Minna, Niger State, is in distress after he searched for his two children and could not find them yesterday, Sunday.
Speaking to journalist Nuruddeen Isyaku Daza via telephone from Saudi Arabia, the businessman said while he was away from home on Sunday afternoon, his security guard, said to be a Fulani man, took his children away on a motorcycle that he bought for him, claiming that he was taking them out for Eid celebration.
When evening came and they had not returned, they started searching for them. They went to all the hospitals in Minna suspecting that maybe they had an accident. But it turned out they are in the hands of kidnappers.
Alhaji Danjuma told Daza that later that evening, some people called him who said they are in Erena forest in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State, saying he should bring money for his children who are with them.
Right now he is appealing to the public to join him in prayers over this calamity he has found himself in, in hopes of finding an easy resolution.
As of now, there is still no official statement from the authorities on the incident. But if we get one, we will bring you their side.
