2027 is a Rematch of 2023, Who Heads to Asorock this time?
1. Yesterday Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was announced the winner of the ADC primaries meaning he will be running against Tinubu and Peter Obi again in 2027.
2. This means that 2027 Elections is a rematch of 2023 with Peter Obi, Tinubu and Atiku going at it again for Asorock.
So What has changed so far? Who will be in Asorock in 2027

ANALYSIS
PRESIDENT TINUBU
Tinubu enters the race backed by the APC, the most powerful political structure currently operating in Nigeria. Howver unlike in 2023, he has lost large portions of Northern support and his biggest nemesis Peter Obi succeded in being on the ballot box again.
Nigeria’s ailing economy and hardship are also major issues for Tinubu as he might not get the number of votes he got in 2023 unless its rigged. His chances are hinged on rigging and a fragmented opposition which plays to his favour.
We rate his chances at 71%
PETER OBI
Peter Obi is no longer a new name in Abuja. This is his second presidential run and he is stronger this time.
His obidient movement is still active Nationwide. He now has a stronger parner in Rabiu Kwankwaso who commands the biggest political movement in Northern Nigeria.
He is in a party owned by a South Southerner which means his base has a place for the SE, North and South south. This is a very good boost.
However NDC is a new party and we doubt they even have up to 1000 party agents in the whole Nigeria. This means the NDC is very easy to rig against, something Obi suffered in Labour party.
