EFCC Arraigns Fake Presidential Aide Over Alleged N25M Crypto Licence Fraud In Abuja

ABUJA (FCT) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a man identified as over allegations of fraud involving about N25 million linked to a fake cryptocurrency licence scheme.
The agency said the suspect allegedly posed as a presidential aide to gain credibility and convince victims to part with their money.

According to court proceedings, the accused is said to have misled individuals by claiming access to official channels that could fast-track digital currency licensing.
The EFCC has continued its prosecution as the case moves through the legal system, while warning the public to be cautious of individuals using fake government connections to defraud unsuspecting citizens.
