Accept Defeat, Work With Aiyedatiwa for Ondo’s Progress – Chief Lawrence Adenugba Urges APC Aspirants

Chief Lawrence Adenugba has called on aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who lost in recent party primaries to accept the outcome of the process and unite behind Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the interest of Ondo State’s development.

Adenugba appealed for calm and party unity, stressing that internal disagreements should not be allowed to weaken the APC or distract the government from its developmental agenda.

According to him, elections and party primaries naturally produce winners and losers, but the larger objective should remain the collective progress and stability of the state.

He urged aggrieved aspirants and their supporters to put personal interests aside and channel their energy toward strengthening the party ahead of future political activities.

He emphasized the need for unity and urged party members to rally around Governor Aiyedatiwa in order to sustain progress and strengthen the party’s position moving forward.

The appeal comes amid reactions and tensions that often follow party primary elections, especially where contestants and supporters hold differing views regarding the process and outcome.

I believe calls for reconciliation and unity are important in preserving party cohesion and preventing divisions that could affect electoral strength, Adenugba said

As political activities continue across Ondo State, I expect all stakeholders a to intensify efforts aimed at promoting dialogue and ensuring all factions work together toward shared goals of our great party, chief Adenugba concluded.
