Singer, Ray J claims he has slept with 12,500 women
Ray J, the US singer, says the number of women he has “slept with has increased to 12,500”.
In a November 2025 interview on Bag Fuel, the 45-year-old artist said he had been “intimate with 1,000 women”.
However, during a more recent conversation with former NFL quarterback Cam Newton, Ray J was asked to clarify the comment and instead claimed that the number has since risen to 12,500.
The singer disclosed that he even celebrated reaching 10,000, which he said was attended by hundreds of women he had previously been with.
“I had a party when I reached 10,000. We had a celebration to mark my 10,000th. I had about 500 girls who had been with me come through and supported me. It was a massive parade. It’s a little bit more now,” he said.
Born William Ray Norwood Jr, he emphasised that the figure refers to distinct individuals, not total sexual encounters.
The singer also claimed that while on tour, he could be with five to ten women per day, and alleged that some women have even higher numbers, suggesting that certain female acquaintances have been with up to 45,000 men in a single year.
“No, it isn’t about how many times I’ve had sex, I’m talking about 10,000 different people. It’s at 12,500 now,” he said.
“When we are on tour, it’s about five to 10 women a day. These guys have way more than me. Some of my homegirls have sex with up to 45,000 guys a year, I’m not capping.”
In January, the singer revealed that doctors had warned he might not have much time left to live after being hospitalised for pneumonia and heart-related issues.
