Reliant.ng has been exclusively informed that the Rivers State House of Assembly has tactically refused to reconvene plenary in order not to consider a new commissioner nominee list the governor transmitted to the state assembly.

A source privy to the development claims that after the four out of the nine commissioner nominees governor Sim Fubara transmitted to the State Assembly for screening and confirmation were rejected on “frivolous ground”, the governor a few weeks after, transmitted another names of commissioner nominees to the state assembly.
