‘Na our president be this o’: Massive crowd hails Obi at Mokola roundabout in Ibadan

A video currently circulating online has shown the moment ADC presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was welcomed by a large crowd at Mokola roundabout in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

The former governor of Anambra, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Atiku, alongside other opposition figures, are in Ibadan to attend the National Opposition Summit hosted by the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In the footage, Obi stopped by at the Mokola roundabout and exchanged greetings with some supporters, while a large crowd hailed him.

Obi has since declared that he will contest against President Tinubu in 2023 under the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC. Although top opposition leaders, including Atiku and Amaechi, are contending for the ADC ticket, there are strong indications that Obi may emerge as the party’s flagbearer.
