“You are looking for Wike’s trouble”,Nigerians react to Shettima’s Mocking Wike’s PDP

Nigerian vice president, Kashim Shettima has been warned over his taunting remark about the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Kashim Shettima taunted PDP while speaking at the commissioning of the newly constructed Abba Kyari Banquet Hall at the Kaduna Government House– referring to the PDP as a “sinking ship”.
He made the remark while addressing former governor of Kaduna State and Nyesom Wike’s ally, Ahmed Markafi. The former governor of Kaduna State attended the Wike’s PDP faction March 30th national convention in Abuja.
Speaking about Ahmed Markafi’s political decisions and future, vice president Kashim Shettima questioned the rationality of the former Kaduna state governor continued membership to the PDP.
According Shettima, Markafi is wasting his life and talent in the PDP when he should have joined the ruling party–All Progressive Congress (APC). He compared Markafi’s continued membership to the PDP to one hanging onto the coat-tails of a sinking ship.
Senator Ahmed Makarfi, I respect you enormously. You are a very decent man and a very inclusive leader. You still have value-addition capabilities, but I sometimes wonder why you are wasting away—wasting away your talents—hanging onto the coat-tails of a sinking ship”, he stated.
Kashim Shettima’s remark is widely adjudged as demeaning to the PDP and the party’s national leadership– a remark vociferous minister for federal capital territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike might consider as aspersion on the national leadership of the PDP especially as the vice president remark was directed at one Nyesom Wike considers as an ally.
Hence, public affair commentators imply that Shettima has courted trouble from Wike by his demeaning remark about the PDP.
