2027: What I Saw About Dr. Wole Oluyede and Ekiti State Gubernatorial Election – Primate Ayodele
In a recent video on Facebook, Primate Elijah Ayodele has made a fresh political statement regarding the Ekiti State governorship race, advising a prospective PDP aspirant, Wole Oluyede, to reconsider his ambitions ahead of the upcoming election cycle.
In a recent prophetic address, Ayodele cautioned that the political landscape is not favourable for Oluyede’s current ambition, suggesting that his chances of success are slim. He urged the aspirant to exercise patience and consider waiting for a future election instead.
“Honestly, if you can step down and wait for the next time, I will also support you,” Ayodele said. “But for this one, forget it—it’s gone. You cannot be governor.”
Ayodele also suggested that the aspirant should be strategic with resources rather than spending heavily on what he described as an unwinnable contest. “I’m not saying you should step down, but don’t waste money further. Keep that money for the next election. You cannot win,” he advised.
He warned that continued investment in the current political race could lead to unnecessary losses, insisting that better opportunities may arise in the future. “Let millions or billions stand by your side, they are pushing you to waste your money now. If I were you, I would keep it,” Ayodele added.
The prophecy comes amid growing political activity in Ekiti State as aspirants position themselves ahead of future elections. Ekiti politics has historically been competitive, with strong party structures and influential stakeholders playing key roles in determining outcomes.
