ALLEGED INFIDELITY: Suspect Flees Lagos, Returns to Cross River, Accused of Killing Lover


A tragic incident has shaken residents of Ogoja Local Government Area in Northern Cross River State following the alleged killing of a young woman by her partner.
According to reports, the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Sunday Ejor from Nwang community in Ekajuk Ward 2, is accused of taking the life of his live-in lover, 26-year-old Lucy Moshe Igu. The victim, a native of Abrumbede in Ibil, was said to have been in a relationship with the suspect prior to the incident.


Sources within the community revealed that the suspect had recently returned from Lagos before the that occurred on Sunday, March 29. While the exact circumstances surrounding the case remain unclear, allegations of infidelity have been linked to the dispute that reportedly escalated into violence.

 


Residents say the shocking development has left the quiet community in fear and disbelief. Local authorities have reportedly been alerted, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspect, who is said to have fled after the incident.
