The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued new political predictions focusing on the growing influence of traditional institutions in Nigeria’s political environment, especially as the country looks ahead to future elections.
In a prophetic message shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday, April 12, 2026, Ayodele examined the role of traditional rulers and how their authority and public influence could shape political alliances, voter behaviour, and party strength across different regions of the country.
A key part of his message centred on the Olubadan stool in Ibadan, a highly respected traditional leadership position in Oyo State. He linked the office to emerging political developments, suggesting that its influence could have implications not only at the state level but also in the broader national political structure.
According to his statement, “Olubadan will disorganize the opposition; he will be fair to the ruling party and work for the APC.” Through this assertion, Ayodele implied that the authority and influence of the Olubadan institution could tilt political balance in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while weakening opposition cohesion in the region.
