Mother, daughter shot dead in Akure tragic gunmen attack as Police rescue victims.

Reports says some unknown gvnmen have shot d ead two residents of Akure, the Ondo state capital, who were mother and daughter, meanwhile the police claimed it has rescued two victims of the suspected kid.nappers.

Confirming the incident to SUNSHINETRUTH NEWS, the State Police spokesperson, Abayomi Jimoh said, “the Ondo State Police Command strongly condemns the heinous vio.lent incident at Igushin via Ala, Akure, which led to the tragic los.s of two innocent live.s.

“While two vic.tims were successfully rescued through a swift and coordinated operation, the Command expresses deep sorrow over the unfortunate d.eaths recorded.

“The Command assures the people that adequate security measures have been put inplace to ensure security of lives & property while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the perpetrators, and the Command also assures the public that those responsible will be brought to justice.

“Residents are urged to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and useful information.”
