Engr. Adewumi Calls for Unity, Promises Quality Representation in Eid-el-Fitr Message
As Muslims across Nigeria and beyond celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, a frontline aspirant for the Owo/Ose Federal Constituency seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Adewumi, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful while emphasizing the urgent need for unity and peaceful coexistence.
In his Eid message released on Friday, Engr. Adewumi urged residents of Owo and Ose Federal Constituency to embrace the spirit of love, sacrifice, and togetherness that defines the holy season. He warned against acts capable of dividing the people, stressing that progress can only be achieved in an atmosphere of unity and mutual respect.
According to him, “Eid-el-Fitr is not just a celebration but a reminder of the values of compassion, tolerance, and unity. At a time like this, we must shun all forms of division and work collectively towards the growth and development of our constituency.”
The APC aspirant noted that Owo/Ose Federal Constituency is blessed with diverse cultures and traditions, which should serve as a strength rather than a source of discord. He called on political actors and community leaders to prioritize the interest of the people above personal ambitions.
Engr. Adewumi also used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to delivering quality and people oriented representation if given the mandate to serve at the National Assembly. He pledged to focus on key areas such as youth empowerment, infrastructure development, education, and improved welfare for constituents.
“I am fully committed to providing effective and responsive representation that will uplift our people and position Owo/Ose for greater opportunities. Together, we can build a constituency that works for all,” he added.
He further encouraged constituents to remain hopeful and actively participate in the democratic process, assuring them that better days lie ahead.
Engr. Adewumi concluded his message by wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful and fulfilling Eid celebration, praying for continued peace, prosperity, and unity in Owo, Ose, and Nigeria at large.
