Lagos speaker, Obasa get fresh appointment
We are proud to announce that our Speaker, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, has been appointed as a Sub-National Representative on the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association African Region.
The appointment, which runs from 2026 to 2029, was formally conveyed during plenary by our Clerk, Olalekan Onafeko.
We congratulate the Speaker on this recognition, which reflects the growing influence of the Lagos State House of Assembly within the Commonwealth parliamentary community.
The Speaker will commence his tenure by participating in the 90th Executive Committee scheduled to take place in Swakopmund, Namibia
