In an interview with Daily Independent on Monday, March 9, 2026, the Founder and General Overseer of Rhema Deliverance International Ministry, Prophet Dr Anene Nwachukwu, has spoken about the political mood in Nigeria ahead of the 2027 elections, stating that there is great agitation across the country as citizens express concern over leadership and governance.
Nwachukwu warned that the 2027 elections will shock Nigerians and described the upcoming elections as a time of significant change and surprises, according to him, the results and events may be unexpected for many people.
He offered a message of reassurance. Prophet Nwachukwu said, prophetically, that God will secure Nigeria and stated that despite current tensions and worries, divine protection will guide the nation through the election period.
The cleric called on Nigerians to remain calm and hopeful and encouraged citizens to trust that the country will experience positive outcomes and that good leadership will emerge after the elections.
He stressed the importance of faith and unity and urged everyone to stay vigilant but not lose hope, saying that God’s intervention will bring stability during a period of national uncertainty.
The prophet highlighted the need for both spiritual and civic awareness as the country approaches 2027 and assured Nigerians that divine protection will prevail, and the nation will navigate the coming elections safely.
”There is great agitation in Nigeria now. The 2027 elections will shock Nigerians. I say it prophetically, God will secure Nigeria from evil leaders,” he said.
