My Loyalty to Aiyedatiwa Is Unshaken, But I Fully Support Adelegbe’s Re-Election  – Olaniyi Eni-Olotu

Hon. Olaniyi Eni-Olotu, Special Assistant on Mobilization to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the Governor while openly declaring his strong support for the re-election of House of representatives member Hon.Timehin Adelegbe.

IN a statement released to Our Heritage Reporter online on Thursday afternoon, Eni-Olotu stated that his political commitment to Governor Aiyedatiwa dates back to challenging times when few stood firm.

Stressing that his support for Adelegbe does not contradict his loyalty to the Governor. He described both leaders as partners in progress whose political alignment serves the broader interest of Ondo State and the people of Ose Local Government Area.

Full statement reads:

When the going was very rough and tough, i stood firmly with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

When some others either sat on the fence or pitched their tents elsewhere, i identified with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and also worked assiduosly for his election.

Aside from Barrister C. K. Ojo, the Executive Chairman of Ose LGA, in the whole of Ekamarun axis, every other person now claiming to be more of Aiyedatiwa loyalist than me in the area is economical with the truth as i was already on ground as the coordinator of the odatiwa partners in Ose LGA before they came in.

I have no regret for supporting Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and my loyalty to him as one of his appointed aides is not in doubt.

However, my loyalty to the Governor does not, in any way, preclude me from supporting the re-election of Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe and the reasons are not far fetched;

1. Otunba Adelegbe never supported the aborted impeachment move made against the Governor when he was the Deputy Governor as he publicly condemned such move and also distanced himself completely from such evil plan.

2. Otunba Adelegbe collapsed the Mayowa Akinfolarin structure into the Aiyedatiwa support base ahead of the Governorship primaries and i quite appreciate him for that.

3. Otunba Adelegbe is my political mentor, leader and benefactor that i am always proud of.

4. Otunba Adelegbe is a performer, a goal-getter and a born-achiever that is sellable.

5. Above all, Otunba Adelegbe is supportive of the Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa-led administration in spite of the fruitless efforts being made by some individuals to sow the seeds of discord between the duo for their personal benefits. I have no regret whatsoever for supporting Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe.
