According to the outgoing official, the Governor not only prayed for him but also endorsed his decision to pursue “greater things,” emphasizing that progress is a natural part of life and leadership.

BEFORE BLOGGERS COOK A MEAT FROM MY EXIT
Late evening of Sunday 15th February, 2026, I shared the news of my exit from Government of Ondo State with the Governor of Ondo State who appointed me to serve the people of Ondo state on the 23rd of December, 2023. As a father, he prayed for me and sanctioned my plans. I equally hinted my colleagues who wished me well.
The Governor maintained that progress is good and it must happen to everyone as he too, experienced an upward movement in his career. In our six minutes conversation, he wished me well in my new assignment.
I am making this post even before the official resignation for two reasons. Those who trouble me for imaginary ‘free government money’ will allow me rest now. Two, whatever insinuation conjured by a third party concerning my exit is of no effect on me. I just saw a funny report in less than two hours of making my intention known. Na you get your mouth.
I wish to state unapologetically that I found great favour in the sight of Mr Governor and I never kept his good deeds away from many of my friends. Like he said, we all pray for greater things in life. And my own time to explore other areas has come.
