2027 Race Heats Up: Peter Obi Meets ADC & Obidient Movement In Joint Strategy Session
Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has urged Nigerians to believe that anyone, regardless of background, can achieve greatness without relying on political cabals.
Obi made the call during a joint meeting with supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and members of the Obidient Movement in Asaba, Delta State, on Saturday. He encouraged all parties to unite and collaborate ahead of the upcoming elections to build a competent government focused on addressing Nigeria’s most pressing challenges, including security, poverty, education, and healthcare.
In a statement on Sunday, Obi emphasized the importance of national unity, stating that leadership should serve every citizen and transform the nation’s resources into wealth creation rather than personal gain. He reiterated that a “child of nobody” could rise to prominence in a reformed system that prioritizes competence, compassion, and commitment.
