Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has cautioned that Nigeria may witness a more intense political struggle ahead of the 2027 presidential contest, warning that opposition forces are already mobilising to challenge the current administration.
In a video shared on Facebook, the cleric described the unfolding political atmosphere as one that could evolve beyond routine party rivalry. According to him, the opposition is adopting multiple strategies aimed at dislodging the government, suggesting that the coming political season may introduce unexpected twists.
Ayodele stated that the President might not yet grasp the full weight of the developing situation, noting that the opposition’s strength may extend beyond visible political actors. Emphasising this point, he declared, “Tinubu Didn’t Know That His Oppositions In 2027 Presidential Bid Are Not Just Standing Alone.”
The cleric further alleged that certain external influences could align with opposition movements, potentially reshaping the political balance in the country. He maintained that such backing, if realised, could provide momentum that alters current expectations about the future of governance.
