PROFILE OF THE PRESIDENT OF CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH, NIGERIA AND OVERSEAS
Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele was born on Tuesday, the 30th of August, 1955 at about 9:50 AM in “Alágbagbà” village in Odédá Local Government Area of Ogun State to Late Pa Gabriel and Madam Alice Oladele.
He attended the C.A.C. Primary School, Alágbagbà before entering into Ministry at a very tender age of 14 years. He had his training locally (a.k.a. Tuúlè) under the late Pastors J.B. Akande (at CAC Ìdí Arere, Ibadan) and J. O. Ogundiran (at CAC Olúgbòde, Odò Ona, Ibadan) respectively before proceeding to the CAC Bible Training College (BTC) in Akure for formal theological studies in 1972.
He graduated in 1974, having trained under the late Mrs. O. O. A. Pearce and Pastor M. O. Faloye, who were principals respectively of the BTC. He was retained on the staff list of the CAC Bible Training College Akure as the youngest tutor at age 19.
He worked as a tutor until 1977 when he left Nigeria for the United Kingdom (U.K.) for further studies at The International Bible Training Institute (IBTI) Burgess-Hill, West Sussex, England.
He returned to Nigeria in 1980 and joined the CAC Theological Seminary Ile Ife as a tutor until 1983 when he left for the United States of America again for further studies.
While in the USA Pastor OLADELE trained in the following institutions:
(i) Berean Bible College, San-Diego, California
(ii) Saint Louis Christian College, Florissant, Missouri and
(iii) The International Bible Institute and Seminary in Plymouth, Florida where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Theology.
Pastor Oladele was ordained a Pastor in Christ Apostolic Church on Monday March 17, 1980.
On his return from overseas, he served as Assembly Pastor at:
(a) CAC Oke-Imole, Ijeshatedo under Itire District, Lagos.
(b) CAC Àgbókojó in Ibadan, Oyo State. 1988 – 1991.
In 1989, Pastor Oladele attended the Haggai Leadership Training Program in Singapore.
He was promoted to the rank of District Superintendent (D.S.) in November, 1991 and served at CAC Sanngo District, Ibadan, Oyo State as well as CAC Oke-Igbala District, Efon-Alaaye, Ekiti State respectively.
He was promoted an Assistant General Superintendent (AGS) in 1996 and in 2002 became “Chairman” of CAC Eleta Districts Co-ordinating Council (DCC), Ibadan, Oyo State.
He served as “Chairman” of CAC Oke-Ado DCC Ibadan from January 2004 to 2014 when, by the Grace of God, he was elevated to the office of General Superintendent (GS) of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Nigeria and Overseas.
In fulfillment of God’s plan for him, Pastor Samuel Olusegun OLADELE assumed office as the 8th President of Christ Apostolic Church (Globally) on Wednesday January 6, 2021.
He is married to Mrs. Susanna Kehinde Oladele (Nee Oláwadé) and they are blessed with godly children and grand children.
