Nigerians Alert Police Over Corps Member’s Alarming Comments on Sexual Urges

A corps member has sparked outrage online after claiming sexual urges can lead to r@ping, prompting Nigerians to tag the police and call for him to be monitored during his service.

Nigerians have raised concerns about a corps member after he made alarming comments about sexual urges and their potential consequences.

On Facebook, the corps member stated:

“When sexual urges start, we lose our senses. At times it leads to r@ping of innocent girls. We need serious prayers. Women’s gender don’t know how we feel when sexual urges start.”

His comments were made in response to a post about a married man who r@ped a mentally unstable woman. The statement drew criticism online, with many users tagging the police to ensure the corps member does not have access to girls where he is serving.

Omije Ojumi’s burial, which took place in Lagos on January 29, 2026, was marked by emotional and tense moments involving her children. One particular clip that went viral showed her son openly rejecting his father, Rotimi William Adeoye, during the ceremony an incident that left many viewers shocked.

While some Nigerians expressed sympathy for the children, attributing the boy’s actions to grief and emotional trauma, others criticised his conduct, describing it as excessive and disrespectful.

Reacting to the incident on her Facebook page, Hakeemah blamed the late singer for what she described as poor upbringing. She suggested that the boy’s aggressive behaviour reflected how he was raised and accused him of acting out to distance himself from his father’s family.

In her post, she questioned why the children appeared temperamental, stating that her own children had been trained with humility, good character, and emotional restraint. She added that her children could never behave in such a manner, whether in public or private, before ending her statement with prayers for Omije Ojumi’s soul to rest in peace.

She wrote: “I wonder why Bunmi (Omije Ojumi) would train her children to be so aggressive and temperamental.
People are now using her son as sticker
He actually behaved like a mannerless child simply because he wanted to prove that he is not part of his father’s family.
Am I the only one seeing it this way?
I thank God that I have been able to train my children with good character, humility and humbleness.
They can never behave like m@d dog whether outside or even at home.
