INSIST ON BEING TREATED WITH HONOUR AND RESPECT –  Banji Alabi Esq.

…A must read for Members Of Singles Fellowship…..

Listen, nobody is too busy. When you call someone three times, and they don’t pick up, it’s because you’re not a high priority. Please respect yourself; don’t make further calls. Insist on being treated with honor and respect.

WARNING: Don’t take people’s love, care, and kindness for granted – it will make you become a memory in their life. As the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking…” A relationship is about sharing your life with someone, so it’s crucial that the person deserves that place.

You’ll invest time, emotions, and energy, so ask yourself: “Is this person worth it?” If you’re complaining about someone not giving you time, you’re trying to force yourself into a space they’ve not allocated to you. As Nelson Mandela said, “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” The part of honor is to walk away; don’t force it.

You might need to leave an unfulfilling relationship to regain sanity and self-esteem, but never give up on love. Try again, and strive to make it better. You’re handsome, beautiful, and lovable – the issue might be the quality of people you’re loving. There’s hope someone will appreciate your true love and reciprocate genuinely.

“The end of one relationship isn’t the end of your life,” as Christine Mason Miller said, “At any given moment, you have the power to say: ‘This is not how the story ends’.” Be aware of your worth and capabilities. You’re a grown adult – don’t settle for less.

I repeat: Insist on being treated with honour and respect. Our biggest problem in life is self-awareness, the ability to fully realize who we are and what we are truly capable of doing. You are a big girl/boy. “DONT SETTLE FOR LESS” – insist on being treated with honour & respect.

Look at Meghan Markle – despite all the intimidating odds that stared her in the face, she rose above them all to become the Duchess and one of the most powerful members of the royal family. If she can surmount the odds, then you can also! I wonder how her ex-husband (Trevor Engelson) will feel seeing the woman she abused and treated like a rag becoming the Duchess and one of the most powerful women on earth.

Don’t take people’s love and care for granted; it will make you become a history in their life. Treat your babe boy/girl, wife/husband, with honor & respect – that is the commandment of God.

*What To Do When Someone You Love Leaves You*
You love deeply, and someone you’ve cared for decides to leave. What do you do?
– Acknowledge you’ve done your best; they’ve got their own lessons to learn.
– Release them with grace, appreciating the moments shared.
– Deal with your feelings – mourn, break, and heal.
– Keep your heart open; someone amazing might be around the corner.

You’re both students and teachers in relationships, helping each other grow. Stop settling for less; go after a relationship where you’re loved, honoured, and appreciated.

From my heart to yours, insist on being treated with honour and respect. You will succeed 🙏.
