Born on May 3rd, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Chuba Iwobi, Alex comes from a family with football in its blood.

His father is from Onitsha, Anambra state, while his mother is from Ugwashi-Ukwu in Delta State and is the sister of Nigerian football legend Jay-Jay Okocha.

Although his journey began in Lagos, his family later moved to the UK, where Alex honed his skills and blossomed into the professional footballer he is today.

Now playing as a midfielder for Premier League club Fulham, he proudly carries the talent and spirit of Anambra and Igbo wherever he goes.
