Transfer: Super Falcons Defender Joins NWSL Club Orlando Pride

National Women’s Soccer League, NWSL, Orlando Pride have announced the signing of Super Falcons defender, Nicole Payne.

Payne joined the Pride on a free transfer after leaving Portland Thorns.

The 24-year-old made 19 appearances for Portland Thorns.

The left-back previously played for French club Paris Saint-Germain.

On the international scene, Payne represented the United States of America at the youth level before switching allegiance to Nigeria.

Payne has made two appearances for the Super Falcons.
