Burial Arrangements Announced for Late Gospel Singer Bunmi Akinannu (Omije Ojumi)
The family of late gospel musician Mrs. Bunmi Akinannu, popularly known as Omije Ojumi, has officially released the burial programme for the beloved worship leader, whose passing has left a deep void in the Nigerian gospel music community.
Bunmi Akinannu was known for her powerful ministration, soul-lifting songs and unwavering dedication to God’s work. Her music touched thousands of lives across Nigeria and beyond, making her one of the most respected voices in contemporary gospel worship.
Following her transition to glory after a brief illness, her family, friends, and fans have been invited to celebrate her life through a series of events scheduled to hold between Tuesday, January 20, and Thursday, January 22.
Burial Programme
According to the official release, the funeral activities will take place as follows:
Tuesday, 20th
– Artist Night
A special night of worship and musical tributes will be held in her honour, featuring gospel artistes and worshippers who were inspired by her ministry.
Wednesday, 21st
– Burial Service – 10:00am
Venue: LTV Blue Roof, Lagos
This will be the main funeral service, where family, colleagues, church members and well-wishers will gather to celebrate her life and legacy.
Thursday, 22nd
– Interment
Venue: Redeemed Camp Private Cemetery
This will be a private burial reserved strictly for family members and closest friends.
