Ex- LG Vice Chairmen Forum writes Tinubu, calls for the release of colleague

The National Forum of Former Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria has on Sunday evening submitted letter to the President and commander in chief of the Armed forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu concerning the abduction of their colleague, a former Vice chairman of Biu local government Council area of Borno state, Hon. Hassan Biu Miringa.

The letter tittled “Emergency call to rescue Hon. Hassan Biu Miringa & Co” signed by the Forum’s national Coordinator, Hon. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel disclosed that following a report by Zagazola Makama, a security intelligence expert and a new video that surfaced online showing two men allegedly abducted by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Borno State, appealing for urgent help as their captors demand a ransom of $300,000 (approximately N428 million) for their release, of which one of the men was identified as Hon. Hassan Biu Miringa, the former vice chairman was abducted on his way from Miringa to Maiduguri.

Godstime appealed to President Bola Tinubu to please direct the ministers of Defence and Security chiefs to see to the release of the former Biu Local government area Vice chairman.
