Popular Broadcaster, Ronke Giwa, has clarified claims circulating online that she owns a state-of-the-art broadcasting studio.
The reports, which were shared by some blogs, suggested that Giwa had opened the facility as her personal venture.
In a statement posted on her verified Facebook page, Giwa thanked well-wishers for their support but stressed that the story was false.
She clarified that the studio in question belongs to Dominion Broadcast Television, where she serves as the General Manager and TV Host, not the owner.
“I appreciate the good wishes that people have for me, but please note that this story is untrue. This studio belongs to Dominion Broadcast Television and I am the current General Manager and TV Host, not the owner,” Giwa stated.
The report, originally shared by IbadanNews.com, described the studio as a “state-of-the-art broadcasting facility” and quoted Giwa expressing excitement about her television journey.
However, Giwa’s clarification confirms that while she manages and hosts at the station, she does not have ownership of the facility.
