PDP NWC in close door meeting with Jonathan

The Tanimu Turaki (SAN)-led National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party is holding a closed-door meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan to discuss party and national issues.

Turaki, on Tuesday accompanied by the entire NWC and a few selected state chairmen, arrived at Jonathan’s office in Maitama, Abuja, around 5:45 pm in six SUV jeeps.

Sources within the party stated that the PDP leaders are expected to discuss the ongoing crisis within the party, their efforts to reposition it, and other key national issues.
