The ancient town of Ifon, the headquarters of Ose LGA of Ondo State went agog with pomp and celebration on Sunday, the 28th of December, 2025 as Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe, the MHR representing Owo/ Ose Federal Constituency was given a rousing welcome by the APC leaders and members from the twelve political wards in the local government area.
The lawmaker was accorded a warm reception by the Ose APC leaders in a meeting held at the residence of Hon. J. M. Oredola, the APC Chairman in Ondo North Senatorial District.
While commending the lawmaker for his giant strides in the Federal constituency, the local government party Chairman, Chief Ladi Tenabe stressed the need for all the party leaders and members in the local government area to shun every divisive tendency and remain strong and united in the best interest of the party and the local government area.
In his address, Otunba Dr. Timehin Adelegbe thanked the party leaders for their unrelenting support and also seized the opportunity to declare his intention to continue to represent the Federal Constituency in the National Assembly being an experienced and a high-ranking parliamentarian that is determined to consolidate on his monumental achievements that can be felt and clearly seen in every nook and cranny of Owo and Ose LGAs.
The meeting was attended by the APC Chairman in Ondo North Senatorial District, Hon. Jacob Makanjuola Oredola, the APC Chairman in Ose LGA, Chief Ladi Tenabe, others include; Hon. Eni Omosule, former MHR, Barrister Dotun Owanikin, former Commissioner in Ondo State, Hon. Dennis Alonge-Niyi, Commissioner in the Ondo LGSC, Mr. Agbotoba, Commissioner in the Ondo State Civil Service Commission, Hon. Jide Owoka, Hon. Mrs Fola Olasehinde-Vinncete, former MHA and SSA to the Governor, Hon. Shola Oluyede, former MHA and SSA to the Governor, Hon. Adefunmilayo Peter, former Vice Chairman of Ose LGA, Engr. Charles Adewumi, Elder Kole Aborowa, Chief Isaac Amos, Mr. Duyile among others.
The end of the year party that was organized by the lawmaker took place at the St. Paul’s Primary School, Ifon play field as members of the party across the twelve political wards in the local government area converged on the play field to wine and dine with Otunba Adelegbe.
The lawmaker also gave cash gifts to all the political wards, the Iyalojas, NURTW and other various interests groups that are mobilizing and working assiduously for the party’s growth.
Otunba Adelegbe expressed his profound gratitude to all the party members for their unflinching support and for turning out en masse to welcome him back home. He also called for their support as he expressed his determination to continue to serve as the Federal constituency’s representative in the National Assembly.
Otunba Adelegbe’s public declaration to run for another term in office was applauded by all the party members as it was greeted with a very loud ovation.
