Stop Posting My Sister Now” — Late Actress All Well Ademola’s Brother Blasts Nollywood Colleagues
The passing of Nollywood actress All Well Ademola has continued to stir emotions across the entertainment industry, but not all reactions have been peaceful.
In a pain-filled and emotional outburst, the late actress’ brother has publicly called out several top Nollywood actors and industry colleagues for what he described as hypocrisy and insincerity following his sister’s death.
Reacting to the flood of “Rest in Peace” posts by celebrities on social media, he questioned how many of them truly supported All Well Ademola when she was alive.
“Everybody dey post ‘All Well rest in peace’. How many of you supported my sister when she was alive?” he asked.
He went further to mention some A-list actors, accusing them of benefiting from his sister’s kindness and professionalism without reciprocating support.
According to him, his sister opened her doors and career to many of them:
“My sister carried all of una join body. Lateef Adedimeji, Femi Adebayo, Owonikoko — una come our house to shoot films. When all of you were doing movies, did you put ‘All Well’?”
He expressed deep frustration that while his sister was alive and producing films, many of those now mourning her never promoted her work nor publicly stood by her.
“Now you guys are posting my sister — ‘our sister’, ‘our producer’, ‘our director’. Did you guys ever promote any of her movies?”
The grieving brother also addressed what he described as misinformation being shared online, particularly regarding his sister’s age.
“You guys should stop posting my sister. You guys don’t know her age. She is not 43, okay. Are you guys mad?”
He concluded by questioning whether his sister was ever truly honoured by the industry while she was still alive.
“Did you honour her when she was alive?”
The emotional statement has sparked intense debate online, with many Nigerians agreeing that the entertainment industry often celebrates people more in death than in life, while others believe public tributes should still be respected regardless of past shortcomings.
All Well Ademola was known for her dedication to Nollywood, her generosity, and her behind-the-scenes contributions as a producer and director. Her death has left a painful vacuum — not just in her family, but in the industry she served.
As the dust settles, her brother’s words serve as a sobering reminder: flowers are best given while people are still alive.
