Ogun Royal Family Breaks Silence on Allwell Death, Reveals Real Age, Burial Arrangements
The Ademola Family of Ogun State has announced the passing of Princess Allwell Ademola, a distinguished creative professional and descendant of the Alake of Egbaland, who died on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 49.
In an official statement released by the family, the late Princess Ademola was described as a beloved sister, mother, and aunt whose death has left an irreplaceable void within the family and the creative community.
“With heavy hearts and total submission to the will of God, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, and aunt, Princess Allwell Ademola,” the family stated.
Princess Ademola, a great-granddaughter of the Alake of Egbaland, was celebrated for her immense contributions to Nigeria’s creative industry. From an early age, she demonstrated exceptional talent, building a career as a thespian, actor, singer, and filmmaker. Her works, colleagues say, reflected passion, discipline, and a deep commitment to storytelling and artistic excellence.
“From childhood until her passing, she distinguished herself as a gifted and passionate creative, touching countless lives through her art, talent, and unwavering dedication to the creative industry,” the statement added.
The family also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support received since the announcement of her passing, noting that the prayers and messages from colleagues, friends, and well-wishers across the world have provided comfort during the period of mourning.

Praying for divine comfort, the family further appealed for continued prayers, saying, “May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may God grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
