Lawmakers:I’ve Made All Effort To Meet Them,Up Till Now The Minister Hasn’t Fixed The Meeting—Fubara

Governor Siminalayi Fubara has stated that he holds no grudges against the members of the Rivers State House of Assembly. In a video shared by Channels Television, Fubara said he has made several efforts to meet with the lawmakers.

Fubara said his political leader, Minister Nyesom Wike, was supposed call the meeting but up till now, that meeting has not been scheduled. He said it is not true when people claim he does not want to meet with the Assembly members. He stated that he has always been willing to sit with them and resolve issues peacefully.

Governor Fubara even promised that whatever their needs are, he is ready to meet them so that peace can return to the state. He said, “I have made every effort to meet with them, but the arrangement wasn’t for me to call them directly, it was for my leader, the minister, to call the meeting which up till this hour that meeting has not been fixed”
